Deepworld is a massively multiplayer 2D steampunk crafting/sandbox adventure game made by Bytebin Studios. Deepworld game development started in September 2011. Deepworld first launched in April 2012 for Mac. The game was inspired by other sandbox games such as Minecraft and Terraria.

The game puts players in a post-apocalyptic world where they must survive. There are no mandatory goals to do in this game, just those set by the player. Players can build structures, fight monsters, mine, restore the environment, earn achievements, share massive creations with others, collect rare items, trade their way from rags to riches -- you name it!

Deepworld is always online in the cloud, which means players can hop in and join people at all hours.

The game is available on the iPad, iPhone, iPod and Mac. Windows is currently (February 2016) in mostly-playable beta and other platforms are coming in the near future.
