A guild is a way for like-minded players to organize into an identifiable group. The guild obelisk is the item that allows a player to create and manage such a group. It is a white obelisk with a symbol that the guild leader chooses from a number of predefined options. A guild obelisk is two blocks wide and four blocks tall with no collision. It is self-protecting, and also has a protector field the size of a large protector.

How to Obtain
The only official way to obtain a guild obelisk is to buy it from the in-game shop. It is not tradable. However, a guild leader can transfer leadership to another player, making it possible for that player to then mine the obelisk. This practice is not recommended unless your goal is to completely get rid of the obelisk and the associated guild, such as when you realize you would like to belong to someone else's guild, rather than the one you created.
How to Use
To use this item, simply place it, then tap or click on it to bring up various options including the name of the guild, the abbreviation that will appear next to member names in the social panel, and what colors and symbols you want the obelisk to display.
/ghelp - Brings up a list of guild-related commands. Can be used on any world, not just at the obelisk.
/ginfo - Displays guild info including guild name, leader's name, home world of the obelisk, and a list of members. Can be used on any world, not just at the obelisk. All guild members can use this command.

If they accept, you'll see a notification to that effect.
